Orders
Subject to stock availability, we aim to send all orders received before 2PM that same day. You will receive a confirmation email upon placing your order and emails informing you of the progress of your order as it progresses through our order system. You can also check the status of your order and list all previous orders by clicking on 'Orders History' in the 'Your cart' menu (if you registered a username and password).
Payment
When you place an order using the webshop your card or PayPal account will be pre-authorised for the total amount of the order. We will capture (take) payment only when your item(s) are shipped.
We take the security of your credit card details very seriously. When the order is placed at our Website, you will be sent to PayPal's secure payment site to check out, No credit card details are held or seen by anyone at Freeprawn Racing.
Back Orders
You may order items that are currently showing out of stock. Out of stock items may show a date when we expect to receive stock. This date is not a guarantee of an arrival time due to circumstances beyond of our control. If you order includes in stock and out of stock items, we will ship the items we have in stock and place the rest on backorder. The backordered items will be shipped free of charge to you as soon as they come into stock. It's not your fault the items were out of stock!!
Returns
Shipping and insurance charges are not refunded. In order to receive a refund, your purchase must be returned with carriage pre-paid. All items must be in "as new" condition, in original packaging and with all manuals, accessories and include the original invoice. Any discrepancies will result in forfeiture of your refund. Except where failure comes under the Sale of Goods Act 1979, a 15% restocking fee and carriage costs will not be refunded against returned items. Refunds on purchases made with a credit card will only be credited to the same card.
In addition to your statutory rights under the new European Distance Selling Directive you have the right to cancel an order. This must be made in writing and received within 7 days from the day after you place the order. You are responsible for the safe storage and return of the items at your cost and risk. All items must be received back in the original condition as supplied with all seals/shrink wrap intact within 14 days of the original order date. A refund will be issued within 30 days. This will exclude any item specially ordered and excludes certain kits & electrical items, clothing, CDs and other sealed products.
All claims for shortages, damaged or defective items must be made in writing within 7 days of receipt. We reserve the right to have electrical items returned as faulty assessed by the manufacturer/distributor before issuing a replacement – any item returned as faulty that is found to have no fault will incur a handling charge. Where goods are supplied and include delivery free of charge, that are later returned for credit or refund, we reserve the right to deduct our costs from the refund total. We reserve the right to deduct a handling fee for any items returned to us in an unsatisfactory condition.
Before any items are returned please ensure you have done the following :-
- Have a valid return number issued by calling or by clicking on 'Contact us'.
- Enclose all accessories originally included with the goods unless otherwise informed.
- Return in the original external packaging as received by you.
- Ensure the full address below is clearly visible on the outside of the packaging.
- Please ensure the ReturnID is clearly marked on the package.
- Securely seal the package.
- Ensure all returns are sent via recorded delivery with a form of insurance. Freeprawn Racing will not be held responsible for any packages lost or damaged in transit. All returns are done at the purchasers risk

Prices
While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it.
If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If the order is cancelled and you have already paid for the products, you will receive a full refund.
