This is the new version 2 Elcon clutch, everything is the same except the shoes, which have been replaced by a longer lasting white teflon compound.
Elcon 54mm billet clutch assembly. A high-performance adjustable clutch with four teflon shoes. This clutch can be used in R/C offroad or onroad vehicles, as scooters.
The engagement point is fully adjustable. By using a system of guiding rods on the shaft of the clutch the shoes can only move outwards, thereby ensuring the shoes engage on their full surface area. With this system forces are equally divided onto the clutch and clutchbell, providing a smooth engagement of the clutch and no side loadings on the clutch bell bearings.
